People's Climate March was organized in September across 9 different cities of Nepal with the participation of youths, civil society organizations, farmer groups, women's group, disabled group, marginalized and indigenous groups, demanding to pay up for climate finance. The activists stated that the global north owes $5 trillion annually to the global south, and it is their moral and legal obligation as climate debt.
