The focus of the webinar will be to discuss how remote sensing is being used to monitor the Himalayas, the current state of the science, and the opportunities and possibilities for the future. The goal is to improve our scientific understanding of the environmental changes in the Himalayan region, identify emerging hazards, and support timely, science-based decisions for a safer Nepal.
