About the event
Erasmus Mundus Connect Nepal 2026 is one of the NCH's flagship capacity-building event helping Nepalese students and graduates prepare for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's Scholarship – a prestigious, fully funded European Union program covering 200+ master's degrees across climate, environment, agriculture, forestry, food systems, technology and more.
Investing in young people is one of the most effective ways to address Nepal's long-term environmental and development challenges. Erasmus Mundus equips youth with new knowledge, global networks, and practical skills to apply locally. Through this initiative, we make these opportunities more accessible offering structured guidance, mentorship, and application support to help more Nepalese students win scholarships and bring global knowledge back to solve local environmental, climate, agricultural, technological, and development challenges.
Last year, 915 students from all 7 provinces showed up for edition one. This year, we're going bigger and better.
Many talented students, despite their potential, remain unaware that these scholarships exist. Many more don't know how to prepare a competitive application. And most lack the support system needed to turn interest and potential into an actual offer. We hope to bridge this gap!
