Local Conference of Youth (LCOY) is a youth-led, nationally grounded platform sanctioned by YOUNGO - the official youth constituency of the UNFCCC, empowering young climate advocates to shape national climate policies and drive local action. Each LCOY feeds directly into the Regional Conference of Youth (RCOY) and Global Conference of Youth (COY) and, ultimately into the international climate negotiations at Conference of Parties (COP), ensuring that the voices of young people at the local level are heard on the global stage.

LCOY Nepal 2026 is proudly organized by Youth Action for Sustainable and Eco Nepal (YASEN) and Nepalese Youth for Climate Action (NYCA) bringing together passionate young people from across Nepal to unite on climate solutions, develop a National Youth Statement, and represent Nepal's youth at the highest levels of climate advocacy.

As a delegate, you will have the opportunity to participate in workshops, panel discussions, and negotiation simulations, contribute to shaping Nepal's national youth climate agenda, and connect with a powerful network of young climate leaders from across the country and beyond.
