📢 NIDWAN is hiring a Program Officer, Disability-Inclusive Climate Action to lead its climate justice work ensuring that the indigenous women and persons with disabilities lead the change. 🌟

NIDWAN is a national, Indigenous women–led organization founded and governed by Indigenous women and girls with disabilities.

📍 Duty Station: Kathmandu (with frequent field travel to provinces)

📄 Contract: Fixed-term (extension subject to performance and funding)

👥 Reports to: Senior Program Officer / President

⌛ Application Deadline: 23 January 2026 (before 17:00 hrs)

Who can join?

• Bachelor’s degree in Climate Change, Environmental Studies, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Gender Studies, or related fields. (Master’s degree highly preferred)

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in climate change, environment, disaster risk reduction, or inclusive development

• Strong understanding of disability-inclusive and gender-responsive climate action

• Experience working with Indigenous communities, organizations of persons with disabilities, or grassroots movements (strong asset)

• Excellent communication skills in Nepali and English

• Willingness to travel frequently to field locations
