House of No Waste Competition (HØW)
A competition offering monetary prizes for contribution to the circular economy in the construction industry.
The HØW competition focuses on areas like reducing waste and introducing innovation to maintain sustainability across all stages of a building's lifecycle.
HØW competition is aiming for solutions that can be replicated and scaled across various communities to allow adoption of circular principles and different economic levels. They are searching for ideas and projects that focus on longevity, resilience and adaptability.
Awards-
24,000 euros (net) to be awarded as three main prizes (8,000 euros each).
6,000 euros (net) to be split between three acknowledgement prizes (2000 euros each)
Eligibility
Below 40 years age at the opening of competition
Should include real and existing self initiative tasks
Must be unrealized “projects in the pipeline”
Should align with HØW principles and EU 9Rs of Circular Economy.
