Global Raptor Research & Conservation Grant
HawkWatch International’s Global Raptor Research & Conservation Grant supports locally led research and conservation efforts for threatened and understudied raptor species worldwide. Launched in 2021, the grant aims to close critical knowledge gaps and strengthen science-driven conservation that improves the status of priority raptor species.
Eligibility
Project focused on one high-priority raptor species (RCPI-EDGE ≥ 0.5)
Applicant is a citizen or permanent resident of the project country
Project conducted in the same country as the applicant
Applicant associated with a registered NGO or university
Application submitted in English
Project completed within 18 months
Project located outside the USA, Canada, and Europe
Benefits
Funding up to USD 3,500 per project
Up to three projects funded annually
Option for one additional year of continued funding
