This role is part of a major climate resilience project focused on reducing the risks of Glacial Lake Outburst Floods (GLOFs) through early warning systems, ecosystem-based approaches, and strengthened institutional capacity. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring environmental and social safeguards compliance, conducting risk assessments, supporting stakeholder engagement, and building capacity among government and communities. The position will be based in Kathmandu under a national project led by the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
