Call for Applications: 50th UNEP/UNESCO/BMUKN International Postgraduate Course on Environmental Management (EM50)

The Centre for International Postgraduate Studies of Environmental Management (CIPSEM) at TU Dresden is now accepting applications for its flagship six-month fellowship program. This fully funded course is designed to empower environmental professionals from developing and emerging economies to lead sustainable development in their home countries.

Course Overview

• Duration: 14 January – 16 July 2027 (6 months, full-time)

• Location: On-site in Dresden, Germany

• Target Group: Mid-career professionals and future leaders in public administration, NGOs, research, or the private sector.

• Curriculum: Interdisciplinary modules covering Climate Action, Nature Conservation, Water & Land Resources, Urban Development, Waste Management, and Renewable Energy.

  Eligibility Criteria

• Origin: Must be from a developing or emerging country (OECD DAC list).

• Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in an environment-related field.

• Education: First university degree (Bachelor or equivalent).

• Age: Generally between 25 and 45 years.

• Language: Proficiency in English (at least B2 level).

• Endorsement: Must be nominated by their current employing institution.
