Gauri Jayaswal, an environmental science researcher, holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from Central Department of Environmental Science, Tribhuvan University. With a strong track record of leading projects funded by USAID, MECS, ICIMOD, and other organizations, she has established herself as an expert in climate resilience, youth engagement, and data-driven solutions. Her career reflects a strong commitment to fostering sustainable practices and empowering communities through education and active participation.

Her expertise encompasses project management, strategic planning, partnership development, and communication. She has successfully led numerous projects focused on renewable energy, climate-smart agriculture, and disaster risk reduction. Her work with several national and international organizations has enabled her to engage with local government bodies and communities at the grassroots level.

A key highlight of her career is her dedication to youth engagement. She has conducted workshops and training programs, equipping young people with the skills and knowledge to act as citizen scientists and advocates for environmental sustainability. She has also represented Nepal’s youth voice, emphasizing sustainability and leadership in the 3rd Youth SAARC Regional Conference, advocating youth engagement.
